In honor of graduating (and no longer having to worry about my [women’s] college tracking down my mutinous rantings and informing me that Student Government members or Resident Advisers should be better behaved), I’m returning to tumblr! Probably not with the same voracious appetite I had for it last year, but I miss the community and miss having an outlet to think things through.
Unfortunately, a year of toeing the line only won me a day of proper pronouning on our school’s website where, under the link to see a video of my commencement speech, there was briefly the phrase: “Joss Greene delivers his commencement speech.” That provocative title was quickly swept away in favor of the ambiguous “the commencement speech” before I could screen shot it. Alas. I’m slightly mollified by the thought that if they’re trying to pass me off as a girl, the naive folk who click on the link are going to be met the butchest, growly-voiced dyke Scripps ever graduated.
A frustrating cherry on the top of Scripps sundae, but not enough to cloud the gloriousness that was graduation. Just enough to remind me why I’m glad to have graduated. So let the radical leftist tirades begin!
