In honor of summer, the time when people besides us twisted, grizzled New Englanders enjoy being outdoors, why not spend some time enjoying your body? Getting into body love, not through self-objectification (how much do I weigh, how do I “look” in this outfit), but through feeling and connection. Enjoy the sun, take a walk, dance a jig, fling your arms up to the sky, roll around in the grass with a lover, watch a thunderstorm… our bodies let us do such marvelous things. How about dumping external standards and appreciating it from the inside out?
